Wojciech Grzegorczyk

Wojciech Grzegorczyk is a young, fourteen-year-old, born in Bielsko-Biała, a picturesque town in southern Poland. His artistic journey began at the Stanisław Moniuszko State Music School Complex in Bielsko-Biała, where, under the watchful eye of his teacher Sebastian Sojka, he passionately explores the intricacies of percussion art. He also develops his skills at numerous master classes.

His musicality, musical imagination and proficiency in playing instruments are appreciated by both the audience listening to his performances and the jurors of the competitions he has participated in.
Competitions such as the World Open Online Competition, the Geneva International Music Competition, the International Music Competition "Opus", the International Contemporary Music Competition "Srebrna Szybka", the National Percussion Competition "Tamburi di Canto" and the National Percussion Competition named after Bernard Lewański are just some of those in which he received the highest awards.

Wojciech is also a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture for Young Artists "Młoda Polska", a prestigious program intended for young artists who have outstanding achievements in the fields of art such as film, photography, literature, music, visual arts, dance or theater.

Despite his young age, Wojciech Grzegorczyk already has festival experience. Winning all age groups and instrumental categories of the World Open competition resulted in participation in concerts of the Cap Ferret Music Festival, where he was met with a very warm reception from the French audience.

Wojciech continues to focus on improving his skills and broadening his musical horizons and is eagerly awaiting further musical challenges.
