New Mapex field percussion for Jubal and Young Jubal!
“We are extremely proud to announce having continued our long-term relationship with Majestic Holland and having extended our endorsement contract with the Frisian company. This has resulted in the purchase of a brand new set of Mapex field percussion for both corps. With this new line of field percussion we bring the very latest innovation available within this scope to Dordrecht. We thank Majestic Holland for their advice and very pleasant cooperation” said chairman Hans Kloppert.
Jaap Ruisch, sales manager at Majestic Holland: “We as Majestic are very pleased that both the seniors and the juniors of Jubal drum & bugle corps have chosen to continue the mutual cooperation. With the choice of the Mapex Quantum Mark II line, Jubal has acquired state-of-the-art models of high tension drums.
Jubal percussion caption head Mark Basset about the new instruments: “I am very pleased to be using the Mapex Quantum II series of marching percussion. The quality of sound produced by the instruments is a testament to a high standard of manufacturing. The innovative design including durable lightweight aluminium components, and the snare’s quick-release mechanism, assist us in the pursuit of excellence. We are proud to use Mapex and hope that the strong relationship between us continues for years to come.”
“This set of instruments is a great step for the percussion” says Young Jubal Percussion caption head Maarten Walraven. “Unique instruments are used in drum corps and the young age at which Young Jubal practices drum corps is also unique worldwide. It has therefore always been a challenge for us to find high tension instruments that are suitable for children. The Mark II series is a great solution for this, with its significant weight loss without compromising on the sound quality. In addition, Randall May International carriers are availabe in both junior and senior sizes, enabling us to respond to needs of children.
Jubal is one of the largest drum corps in the Netherlands and at the forefront of competition in Europe, having won the High Percussion title for the past two seasons.
