Majestic and Sonor sponsor German Brassband Championships
Ingolstadt, Barvaria. 2008 April 19, 2008 — Majestic Holland, in cooperation with their German wholesaler Sonor, sponsored the first German Brassband Championships in Ingolstadt. Majestic and Sonor also provided a full set of percussion for the stage, including new Majestic mallet instruments. This first championship was a big success and as Wolfgang Ulbrich, representative of Sonor, said: "The bands were very excited to play on these high quality percussion instruments." The German Brassband Champion was the Bayerische Brass Band Akademie who received 96 points of the 100 from the judges. The prize for the best percussion section was won by BB Oberschwaben-Allgäu who received a cheque worth € 500.00 towards the purchase of Majestic products.
