Will Goodyear


Will Goodyear is a native North Carolina painter who has been a working as a free lance artist since 2002. He currently resides in Greenville, NC where he is enrolled in the MFA painting program at the East Carolina University School of Art and Design. Will has shown and sold work at galleries and commercial spaces throughout the South East and is currently represented in the Raleigh, NC area by Bob Doster and Adam Cave Fine Art. In addition to being a visual artist, Will is also an accomplished musician who performs and teaches across the United States and has released several albums internationally.

Will has been arranging percussion scores, rudimental exercises, cadences, and etudes for high school, university and independent percussion ensembles since 1999. His music has been featured on the national stage at Bands Of America Grand Nationals, Winter Guard International World Championship and other premier marching events, and select arrangements have been published by Center X Productions. Will is currently percussion director for the East Carolina University Marching Pirates and is an endorsed educator/artist for Mapex drums, Majestic concert percussion and Vic Firth implements.
