Percussion Unlimited Using New Majestic Drums
Sliedrecht – August 18th 2011 - Indoor percussion group Percussion Unlimited is now using brand new Majestic drums. The state-of-the-art instruments were supplied by the manufacturer Majestic Holland in early August and were played for the first time at the latest rehearsal. The drums were delivered in the PU colors of black and green, but with a special "fade" called Black Forrest Fade (BD) and are finished in chrome.
For next season Percussion Unlimited will play on a full indoor percussion drumline of Majestic instruments that were developed exclusively for the indoor circuit. The new Majestic XXA1410SK indoor snare series features a shallower, lighter sound than the standard XTD Snare. The XAT60234Q agility tenors are manufactured in a way to reduce weight but still maintain the warm sound of the deep toms. Additionally, holes in the front project the deep sound toward the audience. The bass drums retain that "old fashioned" good sound.
