Percussion Unlimited Wins CGN and IPE

April 2009—In the last weekend of March Percussion Unlimited took first prize at CGN Marching Open Class finals in Eindhoven. With a thrilling performance they managed to show just what Percussion Unlimited is all about. They scored a 86,7. In the morning the group also took first place in prelims with 82,1 points. The evening performance was full of energy and the crowd showed their appreciation with a standing ovation at the end, proving that Indoor Percussion in the Netherlands is rising.

In the wake of their win at CGN and their earlier win at WGI, Percussion Unlimited claimed their third title of the season in Roeselare, Belgium. They were crowned Indoor Percussion Europe International Class Champion with a score of 86,5, In prelims, Percussion Unlimited came in second just behind Unik Star from France and in front of Drumspirit from Belgium. In finals, the last performance of the season in competition, PU gave it all they had and got rewarded with their third consecutive title of the season.

For Percussion Unlimited this has been the most successful year in its history. They competed in three different circuits and managed to win all three.
