Majestic and Mapex Sponsor Ju Percussion Group at PASIC
October 22, 2009—Majestic Percussion and Mapex
Drums are proud to provide instruments for
international percussion sensation Ju Percussion Group during
the 2009 Percussive Arts Council International Convention in Indianapolis this November
and their other US performances this fall. The stage will come alive as Ju Percussion
Group uses Majestic concert marimbas, vibraphones, xylophones, chimes and timpani along
with Mapex marching snares and drum kits.

Ju Percussion Group was founded over a decade ago by popular percussionist and music
education advocate Tzong-Ching Ju. They perform a variety of Western inspired percussion
and Asian traditional music. The group devotes itself entirely to promoting percussion,
music education and performing, including the yearly Taipei
International Percussion Summer Camp.
Other United States performances for Ju Percussion Group include:
Friday, November 6th at 8:00 pm at the Plummer Auditorium in Fullerton, CA
Saturday, November 7th at 6:30 pm at the Sexsom Auditorium on the Pasadena City College Campus,
CA
Saturday, November 14th at 8:00 pm in the Laurie Auditorium on the Trinity University campus
in San Antonio, TX
The Majestic line of concert mallet instruments was released last fall. This will be the first
time a full stage of concert instruments from Majestic and Mapex will be present at the Percussive
Arts Convention.
