Julian Vulperhorst
Julian is just 10 years old and already known for his great playing and grooves on his snare drum. He started drumming when he was 4. From that time forward he took lessons for drum, guitar and keyboards. He hopes to become an all round percussionist.
Julian works hard to reach the highest level for marching drumming and his goal is to play in the world famous Pasveerkorps drum corps. Unfortunately he has to wait until he becomes 16 years old, but soon he will play in the youth band of Pasveer! He loves it and already plays some grooves like the famous Sudden Impact groove! Julian is influenced a little by his father, Peter Vulperhorst, who is the Drum teacher/instructor and composer for Pasveerkorps. Julian is always on top of new creations that his father writes and tries them out. He even comes up with new ideas of his own.
In the picture above Julian is showing this year's newest creation for kids and youth bands. Majestic wanted to create a new drum that is actually tested by kids themselves on the playing field. Julian was very enthusiastic about the ESS1335S and showed us some modifications and even ordered for himself! Of course, Majestic helped out and made it possible.
